There are only a couple days left before the release of the highly anticipated Metal Gear Solid 4, and it seems that a rumor was able to sneak past Konami’s hard-hitting security.  This rumor comes from video gaming site ripten, which stated that the series might be making its first ever appearance on Microsoft’s box.

    According to ripten, his sources were able to spy evidence of the MGS series looking to make it’s way onto Microsoft’s XBLA service.  The word of the transfer came from PartnerNet, which is the developer-only alternate Xbox Live network used to beta test downloadable content for consoles.

    There is no word on which installment will make its way onto the Xbox 360, but we will be posting updates as we receive them.
